I grew up in the French Quarter in New Orleans, Louisiana, and was encouraged by my family to be an artist. I earned a B.A. in Graphic Design and Illustration, and have freelanced since 1990, working in a wide range of traditional media. I have published pen & ink illustrations, commercial logos, festival posters and products, and contributed to the local film industry as a graphic artist, prop designer, and set decorator.
